Actor Ravindra Mahajani, a seasoned Marathi performer, has died.In Ambi Village, Maval Taluka, close to Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, the actor’s flat was where his body was discovered. The Times Of India said that Mahajani may have passed away three days ago. After neighbours alerted the local police to a bad scent, his body was found. “We got a call from the apartment’s neighbours notifying us that Mahajani was living alone and that there was a bad smell coming from his home. He was discovered dead in a flat, so we went there and forced open the door, a senior Talegaon Dabhade police official told TOI.
The hospital has received the mortal remains of Mahajani for a post-mortem.

With the 1969 movie “Saat Hindustani,” Mahajani made his acting debut. He has appeared in 19 films throughout the course of a more than 50-year career. ‘Mumbaicha Fauzdar‘, ‘Zunj‘, ‘Araam Haram Hai‘, ‘Zoonj‘, ‘Bolo He Chakradhari‘, ‘Kalat Nakalat‘, etc. are a few of his well-known works. He last appeared in the Ashutosh Gowariker-directed historical drama “Panipat” from 2019. His son Gashmeer Mahajani is also an actor who has starred in films like “Muskurake Dekh Zara,” “Mala Kahich Problem Nahi,” “Dharmaveer,” and others. He has appeared in TV series like “Imlie,” “Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal,” and shows like “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.”
